Charming stay with some room for improvement
I had a delightful two-night stay, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the vintage decor that made it feel like home. Cherie's home-cooked breakfasts were a highlight, featuring fresh eggs and different menus each day. The only downside was the noise from the street, which could be disruptive at times. Overall, a lovely experience worth returning to!

A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering!
We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Cherie's warm hospitality! The breakfast was delightful and included scrumptious homemade dishes. The charming decor and cozy firepit area helped us wind down after a day exploring the town. Don't miss Yancey's for a fantastic meal nearby!

The beautifully restored brick home exudes charm, with each room showcasing its unique personality. A highlight was the homemade breakfast. Cherie's creations featuring fresh eggs from the backyard were exceptional. The ceilings in the upstairs rooms are impressively high, making for a spacious feel. However, the close proximity to eateries brought some noise in the evenings, and walking back from nearby restaurants could be slightly tricky after dark. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor inconveniences.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the Cultural Museum and enjoyed some local spots nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the cozy vibe made it feel like home. Definitely a good choice for exploring the area with friends.
However, there was a bit of a lack of oversight by the management that made things feel somewhat uncoordinated at times.

Perfect stay for families
From the moment we arrived, Cherie was all-in with the kids, setting up little jobs for them like feeding the chickens. And then the breakfast, oh man, that casserole and the waffles were to die for, a total game-changer for our morning!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but with everything we got, it still felt worth it.
